Loved this place. Great to sit out and people watch. Amazing gin cocktail. Loved the food. We shared some sliders & dips and cheese board. Everything was lovely. Nice staff. Definitely coming back!
Attended on a Friday lunchtime, two people and have a lunch special of $25 each for a meal and wine/beer/soda. There was a surprising number of options, I was impressed. We opted for the salmon and it was honestly delicious, the salmon was
Oh WOW!!! Some of the nicest food I have had in a while. This place it the best on the Yarra River. Food was spectacular and the drinks where strong and well needed after walking all day.
Great staff! Great service! One star is for that. Worst chefs I have ever seen!! Waited for 30 minutes happily on 2 of their most expensive dishes and when they arrived both were cold! Mildly warm at best! Extremely shocking and
Very much a carnivores restaurant. Although the best dish was the prawn and clam pasta - very tasty (which I ordered as I had read about it in other reviews) the meat platter entree was a variety of grilled meat on a platter and was almost
Great atmosphere and comfortable seating made for a good first impression- followed by quick and efficient taking of our food and drink orders. We decided to share, which was a good choice with so many tempting offerings. Our orders arrived
Ordered a steak with mushroom sauce - steak was ordered well done and it was surprisingly very tender and not too chewy at all. The mushroom sauce didn't really taste like mushrooms though..
Dinner was good. The place has a nice dark ambience. A little loud for my liking when you are fighting the music and everyones chatter for a conversation. Several beef options and styles. This was really good. Also has kangaroo meat on a skewer and a good list of wine options. Pricing is reasonable for this type of venue.
Ordered Wagyu rump, one of the best steaks I have ever had. It was amazingly done. The decor is amazing. The location is one of the key selling points here. The service was amazing, the staff is accommodating. Overall, a five star experience.
Nice place for a steak. Not too expensive. But not cheap either. Like it will cost around $60 per for head for a decent steak and soft drink.
A lovely place for dinner with a beautiful view of the Melbourne skyline .They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner .Good service and friendly staff. Food is excellent.
Went on a Sunday $55 set menu & omg delicious. Fantastic food & service. Highly recommend ! 👍
Great service and delicious food. Vegetarian options were limited according to the menu but the chef made an amazing vegetarian main for me. Desserts are also great.
Ate here with a group of friends and we were treated to a delightful night with friendly service and excellent food. Our head waitress was incredibly attentive and genuinely interested in any feedback we could give on the dishes we chose.
The menu is pure and simple, the food is next-level-amazing. I have dined here many times and it never disappoints. Very highly recommended.
Food is tasty but sizes are what you'd expect from a celebrity chef's establishment. I wasn't overwhelmed by the steak flavour but very impressed with the seafood mains. I'd splash out for a special occasion again definitely.
If you haven't been, you must at least once in your life and forget the cost factor because it's all about the experience and service you get along with the amazing food selections and the best Dry aged steak ever. Seriously just go do it.
Great food. Servings are generous - starters are huge, sides are larger than expected. The lamb cutlets and steak was excellent. Macaroni and cheese is one of the best I've had.
Always a great dining experience at Rockpool! Oysters are out of this world. Some of the freshest oysters in melbourne for sure. Get the Sydney rock variety, it’s amazing how the different bays in such close proximity produce such different
Beautiful produce. I've not had steak quite like it before. Great octopus, the chopped salad was light and delicious, and the tartare well balanced and creamy. The sommelier nailed the wine for my wife and I based on a few quick questions.
We had a lovely evening here, enjoying tasty Italian food, with great customer service. Our last evening in Melbourne, flying home to UK having had trip cut short, like so many. We hope 'La Camera' weathers the storm. Thank you stay safe.
Great coffee at a special rate as recommended by one of the tourist vendors from the ferries on Yarra. I had a soy latte to tie me over on a very chilly morning whilst awaiting the ferry cruise and it was delicious!
Perfect hospitality and superb food and service. We are on holiday and the owner knew it was doubtful he would ever see us again, but that didn’t distract him from offering the quality I’m sure he always maintains. Would recommend in a heartbeat. Just make sure you kick his feet and bump elbows.
I recently booked our Christmas Day Lunch for 17 people at La Camera and could not fault them. None of us had ever been there before, so I was a little nervous... but needn’t have been. We had such a lovely welcome at the door, had a
Fancy treatment. yummy entrees. staff came and told us about specials twice - could use some synchronisation. :3Also would prefer to have water jugs on the table than having to wait for staff to notice we've finished our water and bring us more.
Great place for dinner. Attentive and friendly wait staff. The menu was very good, drinks selection was good. Some tasty cocktails. And food was excellent.
Amazing culinary experience which makes Spice Temple a wonderful must for us time and time again. Wonderful setting, especially upstairs and downstairs holds its own unique ambience, be sure to come again.
Very pleasant lunch spot with some amazing food. Highlights include the egg plant and other creative offerings, so worth staying away from more traditional items and being adventurous. Dishes are great for sharing and quite filling. Staff
Delicious food, each dish was spectacular. Can't fault the food at all. Prices however are why I have left off one star. The food is great and ambience is great, but it's not worth almost $200 pp. Won't be visiting again for a while to come. Can get similar food at a fraction of the cost elsewhere.
The Temple has the edgy contemporary feel over all its traditional Chinese competitors. You see it in the decor the service and especially the food. And the whisky sours are a cut above
It was an alright experience for me. We went for dinner and it was quite pricey for the narrow selection. The oysters were fresh but tiny. The Indian and Asian sections were great because they made food to order and the the staff were
The perfect restaurant for that special occasion. It is a huge dining area with tables for large groups and tables for 2 in quiet locations against the windows for terrific views of the Yarra river and night activities along the bank.
Dined here last night. There was a great range of food available and they were pretty good. Fresh oysters and seafood and other types of food. Will come back again for lunch and/or dinner.
Wonderful meal. Amazing fresh cuisine which from different nationalities . Only the service was so slow. 2-3 hours your coffee can comings. Anyway very happy with their foods
It's quite hard to find the entrance. Its inside the Langham hotel. Food can best be described as "acceptable". I suspect the seafood is thawed which was disappointing because it's the main reason we came. We went on a Thursday evening and
Had an anniversary dinner here and everything was incredible. The interior is lovely and the service was exceptional. Surprisingly, smoothest gin & tonic I've ever had, even better than a 20€ g&t I once had in Berlin. Everyone who served us
Great service, good food but a little dissapointed in some of the flavors. Will try again.
Bit underwhelmed by this place have visited the other restaurants at crown owned by same co. And rate them very highly but this left me feeling a bit off, food was good except I ordered the whiting which menu suggested would be served with
I’d say regular Italian restaurant with a higher standard of decor. But nothing really wow-ed me. Heard it’s place where many celebrities go, but I guess there are more options out there.
Ambiance was fabulous, the staff was well trained and courteous. The food was absolutely delicious. It was all about the flavour and MasterChef level complexity in the dishes.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Have been here many times now and staff have always been great!
While having a limited/reduced menu was at first a concern, I soon found that those thoughts were waylaid when the food arrived.
Mixed fare with very friendly and helpful staff. We just had a couple of share plates including this betel leaf with crab meat and coconut. Tasted nice but could hardly taste any crab, totally overpowered by the coconut.
Great coffee. The food was good enough but could have more flavour and exiting ingredients. Had the veggie burger and fries. Otherwise it's a cosy place and has a good vibe. The waiter who served me, Anna, was super friendly, happy and made me feel welcome. Great smile and seemed like she loved her job.
Date/time visit: Sunday 9 February 2020 at approx 4:15pmExcellent early evening meal. Always a great atmosphere, and always good for a
My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary not really knowing what to expect. I've had teppanyaki before and enjoyed it so thought we'd give it a shot. We were sat on a small table on our own rather than the large 8 or so seaters I'd
Supreme Japanese fine dining at it's best. This Teppanyaki experience was truly amazing. The skill from our chef was evident not only in the deft skills on display but also the delicious food produced. An excellent selection of unique
Disappointed with the restaurant. When we booked for teppanyaki we were expecting them to be throwing the food to us. Yet instead they just cooked in front of us. There was no interaction with chef. Might as well not have the hot plate in
Had a private room here for a business dinner. WOW it was awesome. Food was beyond excellent and service was immaculate. Can't speak for the price but looking forward to another chance to visit with the wife. 10/10 experience.
The setting of the restaurant is nice however the service is very average. The staff was rude to us when I asked for some fresh wasabi and keep telling us the package wasabi is all they got. I don't think she understand what is fresh
What variety of seafood and the decor is very classy. Every time i go there isn't any problems. Recommend!
Nice but not amazing. Oysters ok. Salmon main was delish. Barramundi main was sad looking but ok. Decent midweek meal. Service was fab.
This place was good but unfortunately for the price the food and service just wasn’t up to scratch. Our oysters were not prepared to be easily eaten and all got stuck in the shells, whilst they were tasty the expectation for the price is
True Seafood,True Customers Service, Lovely Dinner, We will be back soon to Enjoy underground Bar at Atlantic... soon soon
Express Lunch. 2 course for $45 or 3 for $55. Excellent. Nice to sit by the river in the Melbourne sun.
An amazing family night out, with food that was delicious, fresh, tasty, vibrant and served with a smile! Atmosphere was perfect! Beautiful summer night at such a lovely location! Different types of meals to please all dietary
We were here for a pre-theatre meal. $45 for 2 courses and $55 for 3, with a glass of wine. My friend and I both chose the Tuna tartarte and the trout. Both dishes were delicious, the trout so smooth and naturally tasty. The Deck is very
A really good place to eat. The foods always good, the winelist interesting with a good choice by the glass, and they are great at getting food out in as short time. Go there; I do often.
Great coffee. Probably the best in the complex. Good breakfast options. Nice people.
Absolutely delicious - I will return again and again. Great menu and excellent service.
Great place for drinks and the food is good. The staff is really friendly and serviceable. You have to download an app and order everything through it which is great. You don't even have to go to the counter to order and or pay.
Was good but not amazing. Great location. Great selection of draft beer. Online ordering was pretty nifty as well. Food was pretty average though. Salt and pepper squid was soggy and soft. Chicken Sanga was good. Fries were soft. Overall, was good but not excellent. 4/5.
Nice beer selection. A few craft beers on tap and some more in cans. The cans were a bit on the expensive side, but it is in south bank so I guess is to be expected. Good selection of food, also not a bad vegetarian menu for a pub. The
We had a one drink per bar limit when we came to Melbourne. As first timers and with so many bars and restaurants to experience we wanted to see as much as possible. Hopscotch is fantastic! We have broken our rule and returned again and now
Bloody great. Loved everything from food to booze. Beth, the manager was wonderful. We were made to feel very VIP. Highly recommend. We will be back. May become our city regular.
