Fantastic fresh food, wonderful service. Reminds me a lot of high quality tempura restaurants in Japan. Highly recommended (tip to book a couple of days in advance).
Fantastic tempura. Light tasty authentic Japanese. With entertainment from chef. Cosy small restaurant in heart of Toorak.
Very nice food, worth the money. Expect a set menu for dinner
Hidden gem! Went for tempura set dinner. Everything was amazing and chef and staff were super friendly. A tiny restaurant that seats eight at the bar. Book ahead as seats are limited
Loved the atmosphere and theatre of the meal.I would recommend this restaurant to you
Great pizza, lovely staff and awesome spaghetti Bolognese
Not Virginia ham, it's processed. Chips are the $2 shoestring from supermarket. Served soggy. Very poor customer service from the owners.
A favourite over many years. Great pastas spot on with order changes. Great veal, fantastic pizza bases, light, crispy and thin. Great service. Well deserved to be a long standing fav. Always consistently good.
Do you like pizza? Do yourself a favour and pop in here for a slice. The pizza was wonderful and the service was impeccable. Very recommended.
Extremely obliging and friendly service, and wonderful pizza, at a good price

Always a great place for fine dining and fancy Thai food. All dishes are served in descent size and super friendly service.
Delicious food, good service and great value for money. Ordered the red duck curry. It was so tender melt in your mouth and spicy. Took me back to Thailand. All other dishes orderded (massman curry, spring rolls and rotti) served beautifully and very tasty and authentic. Great experience.
One of the best and most authentic Thai experiences in Melbourne. Highly recommend.
A lovely venue for an intimate Italian dinner.
Great food. Wonderful service. The chef even accommodated to out request for a special order of calamari pasta which turned out really really good!
Really good authentic Italian food from a non-fussy menu. Loved the Veal Scallopini Marsala.
Absolutely amazing customer service! Ducked in to grab a quick coffee to go, even though they are a restaurant they were happy to make me a take away coffee which was well made, so rich and creamy. The maitre d was so engaging and polite,
This is a restaurant that's been around for a real long time yet I'd never eaten at yet. Their website looked lovely with delicious sounding dishes, so thought we'd give it a go.
Great food, reasonable prices, a good crowd....a golden oldie!!😁
Probably one of my favourite more established places in Melbourne. Old school and feels vintage but really love that, great food and staff were really really helpful.
Haven't been 2 this place in many years. It turned out 2 be busy & well attended. I remembered it as being much noisier than it was. Maybe it was our timing. We got there around 9pm. I had a very sizable entree spinach lasagne 4 $23. It
If you are looking for good quality tasty food that is served quickly it’s the place to go, recommend you ask for and try their chilly oil.The service can be a bit up and down they seem to constantly have new front end staff.
Amazing food & service!!! Over an hour travel and so well worth it! Will definitely be back for the best chicken parmas in town!!!! Thanks again guys

Tasty fresh Australia/NZ sourced seafood.
Have just come here (after being here yeasterday) to have again the delish steak roasted potatoes and very very fresh veg great service very friendly staff deserves better support have been coming here for a long time
I love this restaurant. It isn’t trendy, hip or cool and the decor is outdated. I think that’s good. There has to be restaurants for people who aren’t interested in what’s fashionable and just want a relaxing place with lovely comfort food.
WE GO HERE IT IS GOOD AND NISE
I've been dining here on and off for over 18 years now. It's a family owned and run business with amazing food. I lived overseas for a decade and made an effort on every visit back to go back there and try all my
Amazing pizzas! We order here every week without fail. The owners are friendly and you will not be disappointed with the food and service here!
Not my favourite pizza in the area, but still very good. The classic margarita is tasty, as is the vegetable pizza, although I think it could use a bit more cheese (I’m actually not sure if it had any). My order came with a free serve of
Great food & service.
Love it. Good selection of authentic Italian Pizza. The staff is always nice and smiling. Better to book during we.
Have not eaten here before, decided to try the pizza, little disappointed with the two pizzas I ordered, margareta, had little to no cheese, cheese that was there was cold as was most of the pizza.
We have eaten here several times, and recently did a cooking class. It was great to see and make the food we enjoy eating. We'll be back to dine and do further classes in the future
The best thai food around that we've found! We always get our take away here and will start to visit the restaurant more! So delicious!
A true delight with number of exceptionally delicious offerings. Definitely try the satay chicken & golden basket. Only knock is that at peak times the kitchen can be slow but you'll find it's worth the wait!
Live locally and come here often - food is delicious, have tried multiple dishes and the quality is always really good. Favourite is the massaman curry - best I've tried in Melbourne!
Not super traditional thia food and my partners chicken salad was a bit over dressed. Otherwise we had a lovely meal.
Welcome Thai has been around for years and I'm assuming through a few changes of hands. I've been here a few times and the food is always delicious. Pictured here is the Chicken Satay that I had for entree, and the Chicken Fried Rice for
There was nothing to fault on our first and recent Friday visit. While the restaurant seemed a little quiet, this mostly worked in our favour though we would have enjoyed slightly more time between our entrees (superb brains and delicious
Good food and service. Enjoyed the dinner. Using the entertainment card was a great help.
“Quaff” is undeniably the best place in Melbourne for Soufflé, to which they always have sweet and savoury options. Reliable and unbeatable.
The staff here could not have been more helpful in assisting with my wife's 50th birthday celebrations - the White Room is cosy and very reasonably priced for what it offers. Of over 10 options we visited for my wife's 50th, this was far

Overall an excellent experience. The booking staff were informative and quirky, which was nice. On arrival we were seated quickly. The management really puts a lot of effort and it shows through the efforts of the staff. Venue was warm and
Has a great night at Marque for Gary Spry's birthday bash. Great surroundings and food. Meet up with friends not seen in years.
Weekday night. Groupon voucher so great value. Normally pricey. Meals were excellent. Lush decor. Different and interesting.
Couldn’t get any service. Had to ask for a menu from a very vague waitress, then sat for ages waiting for someone to take my order, even though it wasn’t busy and I could see staff not doing anything. I eventually walked out.
Beware if you'd like something more buzzing ...and up to the minute. It is basic and I think the positive reviews probably reflect the views of the more conservative group of customers which belong to a pensioner type of cohort who like the same thing week after week. If this is you, you'll love it too.
Nice cosy local cafe with good brunch selections, if you don't want to drive far or line up for long, this is a great place nearby
Reviews talking about pensioners aren't necessarily wrong, however, this is honestly one of the nicest places for me to take older family members (including those with accessibility issues). The staff is very patient and accommodating (for
Damn they do good sandwiches
It was a balmy summer's night. We managed to persuade my MIL to look after the kids for a couple hours. I stole the missus away to Toorak for her birthday dinner.
Very enjoyable quick lunchThe wait staff were very professional, punctual and friendly The food was well presented and delicious.
I have been to Bistro Thierry on three occasions and I can safely say it is not enough. The reason being is that they create seasonal dishes that are an absolute delight. A couple of things that never change are as follows.
Best steak ever!! Totally melts in your mouth! Came here for dinner on NYE and food came out really quick despite being at full capacity. Waiters were friendly and attentive. One of my fav restaurants!
I was treated to an early birthday lunch today at Bistro Thierry. The staff were friendly, fun and upbeat, and the food was terrific.I ordered the lamb heart entree (not pictured, but delicious), devoured the beef
Great everything. I'm a regular and the staff are always friendly and the food is always amazing and the restaurant is always clean. Best Vietnamese in the area, hands down.
Great tasting beef pho and very friendly service.
I seriously love this place! The service here is 5* + - so friendly, polite and inviting. They make you feel at home, more like an honored guest. The food though - again, absolutely fantastic. Even though they are just a daily cafe
Good food and friendly service
Ordered the red rice with fried chicken for takeaway and was given plain white rice with bad chicken instead. Also, 16$ for a meal? No wonder the place is always empty. You are better off going elsewhere in Toorak Village where you will not get ripped off.
Food is good, though the menu is an odd mix with lunch being almost all Asian food, while all day breakfast has a complete egg menu with everything from scramble to Persian baked eggs, or custom muesli and porridge. The coffee is average,
I really like this quaint little place. The coffee is great, the food tastes great and is reasonably priced for the area and the service is fantastic with staff being very attentive.
They got a new menu which is amazing I go many times and try there new dishes or specials and is just full of flavour. Also I think they have the best coffee here in Toorak. Sometimes you wait a bit but that’s ok , because you can tell they are so busy
Great coffee good food.
You can tell just by reading the menu that there is much care and thought towards taste and menu variety, and the fried cauliflower with tahini and pomegranate that I ordered did not disappoint
Food and service excellent
