Excellent food. Good vibe. The owner is very nice. I love their home made springrolls ,curry puff ,angel prawn and prawn tamarind. Musman curry is the best ever...!!!!
Long established restaurant in Chatswood, suit families. Reasonable services, food is nice but probably modified to suit western taste. Nothing too spicy or exciting.
Enjoyable Thai just off the main road.Food was great and portion sizes were excellent
Excellent food and service at a reasonable price
i ordered laab and tom yam. delicious but both taste were very soft and mild for me.i prefered more strong, sharp and hot.
Fast service. Great quality food. A bit expensive, and the portions are about 15% smaller than I would have liked, but I guess there's no substitute for quality. They also, surprisingly have a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The desserts looked good too, but we were too full to try. Maybe next time.
We tried the limited edition Good Fortune dumplings filled with wagyu beef and black truffle. Absolutely amazing. Of course no trip to DTF is complete without their signature soup dumplings and many of my must-order dishes, including bubble milk tea. Service is very attentive and efficient. A great popular family restaurant.
We stopped by for a quick lunch. The service was okay (good for Asian restaurant), and more than acceptable for a shopping centre restaurant.
One of my family's favourite restaurants. The food is a bit more expensive than some other like restaurants, but it makes
Standard Chinese food, they taste okay, were a bit oily and salty. Serves were quite small too.Unfortunately Overpriced and overrated.
We had the gnocchi gorgonzola and a prosciutto pizza. Unbelieveably delicious. The gnocchi was silky, the pizza was perfectly chewy and crisp and the rocket was very fresh. Very busy night, so service was quite light on -- at times it felt
Amazing food and service! We had our daughter’s birthday here and the quality of food and service was incredible, even on a very busy Saturday night. I will be definitely coming back!! Thank you.
Authentic wood fired pizza, delicious pasta and great cocktails. The staff are welcoming and ambiance fantastic
Last week I tried the lasagna, it was amazing. I think it was the actual pasta, home made and tasted fantastic, hard to get pasta that good. I'm looking forward to my next meal from Andrea the chef!
Best place in Chatswood! I went there with couple of friends. Beautiful atmosphere, the staff made me feel in Italy again! The waitstaff was very attentive and the waiter gave us great recommendations. Even the chef at the end of the meal
Food coma from Malaysia in the most positive way possible. Just needs more sambal and curry per serve.
One of my go-to dining spots around Sydney. The food is consistently great and the wait times are short. Don’t let the age of this place deceive you. It’s an institution so make sure you don’t miss out.
Ordered curry chicken, the first one in the main. It is too spicy and the chicken tasted a little bit over cooked and too much bones. Milk tea is quite good. We ordered 2 main, 2 roti, 4 drumsticks and 4 milk tea which cost $92. Overall not very good value of money. Customer service is good.
I’ve always loved the food at mamak. Good portion sizes and fast service. The food is unique to many places in the area also. Great flavors. Unfortunately though I think they raised prices since it’s beginnings? Still affordable for the great food.
The food was served very quickly, it tasted great! They turned down the heat in the Fried Rice for my kid. Generous portions, even with "Lunch Special" items.
Good food. Comes out incredibly quick and is of good quality. I’m really happy with this place. The only reason it loses a spot is because of the process to get a seat. We got there when there was a line, but it was clunky. There was an
Hearty Shanghainese food. Full menu of rice, noodles, dumplings and drinks. Definitely worth a try.
Excellent food, non alcoholic beverages could be tastier and colder .pan fried bao was tasty .didn't find sauce for spicy prawn wontons too tasty for me.. not flavour full enough.mains also could have a few more options but that's just me wanting to eat some chicken. Or beef with a non sweet and sour sauce.
When you visit Sydney must try this restaurant. Outstanding food and the place was so cool. Value for money.
The food is served very fast after you have ordered so It make me think that all the food is prepared/ pre made so not fresh. The service I mean no service worst than fast food. The vegetables dish was the best out of the 8 that we had.
Thoroughly enjoyed dining at General Chao! The recommendation from my friend certainly lived up to the premise. We booked the chef's table and ordered 3 entrees, 2 mains, 3 cocktails and a dessert to share was more than enough for 3 people.
The food here is TOP. NOTCH. Some of the best fancy food (without the $$$ price tag) I have ever eaten. Highly recommend the giant pork bun to share, and the jasmine duck dumplings. The staff here are lovely and recommended we sit up at the chef's bar area where we recieved complimentary recommendations and some fancy nuts!
Visited sometime ago for drinks. The place has a cool style which was the reason attracted us at the first place. But the bartender we talked to was not helpful at all.... Great place with personality but your quality of service can be improved .
I can not recommend this restaurant enough. We have visited for both a date night and some family events. The menu is to die for , the cocktails are INCREDIBLE and the customer service somehow exceeds both. Highly recommend for any occasion
Fantastic dining experience. Great section of beers, wines, and cocktails. Can’t go wrong with their range of reds. The food was amazing - the Blue Swimmer Crab was exceptionally good. Other highlights include the wagyu beef, prawn toast, prawn skewers and jasmine dumplings. Definitely worth a visit.
The service is quick, there is no complaint on the quality of food here. Oh and unlimited refil on pickles too :)
Nice ramen place. Really enjoyed it. Tasty broth and chewy noodle. Staffs were nice. Food came out quick. Chicken karaage and gyoza were also nice.
Hakata Ramen (Japanese: 博多ラーメン) is one of the types of Ramen. Ramen, derived from Fukuoka city in Fukuoka Prefecture, is made of thin noodles with pork bone (donkotsu). The conclusion is delicious
Delicious ramen and friendly service. Will definitely go again.
This is a Yes! If you look for Ramen in chatswood this is the best option, very authentic and the place is easy to get to. Friendly staff and prices match quality
Great Bar for After Work Drinks & a Big Feed! Big Stein glasses, generous meals and friendly staff.Convenient location near Chatswood Train Station makes it a great spot to catch up with friends or unwind after work.
I have the best experiences at this place! They have great food and excellent staff who create a fun and exciting atmosphere that always brings me back. Lesa always serves us with great energy and enthusiasm and has without fail provided
Lovely location next to chatswood station on the top road. Good food but the portions are much smaller than the old days. We were a big group and was allocated along the glass wall, but it was easy too sunny and hot during lunch time with direct sunlight, no option for blinds to come down. Services was good.
Happy hour $5 for a 500 ml beer is good with limited choices, still good for the summer. I found they deliberately slow down the service during happy hour - limited servers to serve beer, only the main bar is opened, the line built up and waited 15 mins for my turn. That's after 7 pm, happy hour just finished.
Nice and free mood of eating
Was a great place when it opened a few years ago but has become average lately.
Nice and cosy place with black and white photographs. The food is a bit salty for me but its absolutely delicious. The staffs are extremely friendly. Highly recommended.
Delicious food, quick and friendly service. Trying this place for the first time and it didn't disappoint. I walked in and
Quite interesting place. There are lunch deals on, great value. Dinner there is quite good also but suggest you to book before going, quite busy. My husband and I and our friend ordered 3 dishes and were great. Papaya salad was a highlight.
The ribs here are exceptional and anyone visiting must try them! The quality of the food is great, hasn’t changed in many years as I had not
Great little Japanese restaurant! Honestly felt like I was back in Japan! The little things like the little money tray at the register reminded me of Japan.Self serve (cafeteria-like) is fantastic! Food at self serve cost under $5.
The udon so tasteful. So not only soup are nice. But the whole bowl so tasty. Perfect to my tummy and feel so full
Affordable and very good service. However, the portion for Salmon with rice was too little. Four very thin slices of salmon on top of a ramekin of rice. The dish looks big because of the mixed salad that was placed on top as garnish. I paid
Came in with a mum, child and a pram. Staff asked a couple if they could swap tables to accommodate us (they did). Very nice of both parties. Then the same staff member brought them a complimentary drink each to thank them for moving for us. Was very lovely of them. Service A+++ and the food is A+++ too. Great stuff!!
So efficient and so so delicious! The tempura is crunchy and not too oily. Staff are friendly too and great at keeping the place clean.
Taste good. Highly recommended Viet. rest in Chatswood. Pho is a must try.
Came here for a weekday lunch. The service was friendly and fast. We tried the stir-fry Pho and the salt and pepper tofu. Both came out quickly and tasted very good. We were stuffed after, so sharing is the best option here. A great place for lunch with friends.
Pho soup and crispy chicken was the best menu for me :)
Highly recommended Vietnamese joint in the heart of Chatswood. Very generous portions regardless of what dish you order and service is prompt. Judging by the crowd, this place has a large following and be prepared to join a line on busy
Very yum. Affordable. Two dishes like that around 50 dollars for 2Both very full
